Our smart integrations made webinar set-up and approvals a simple task for this pharmaceutical brand.

What We Did

When the coronavirus pandemic halted in-person events in 2020, Otsuka Europe needed a way to engage with healthcare professionals. Like many companies, they embraced webinars, but they found setting them up to be laborious. So they asked us to smooth the process. We developed a web application which allows each of their European affiliates to easily setup and manage online webinar events. The app integrates seamlessly with the GoToWebinar platform, for automatically generating the event, through to triggering email notifications for participants. And it’s all consistently branded in the Otsuka style.

The Result

The real time-savers? Those come from custom templates and streamlined sign-off tools. Most Otsuka webinars call for repeating blocks of text. So we built capability to save these on the system and drop them in where needed. Even better, the app auto-generates screenshots of each page to be sent for approval – a must in this highly regulated sector. The application also supports multiple languages, has built-in user controls management, and is hosted on our servers to guarantee responsiveness. It has been such a hit across Otsuka’s European affiliates that we’re working with them to add support for in-person meetings.
