Experienced Web Designer

Salary £25,000 - £35,000

We’re interested in experienced web designers as well as candidates with a relevant degree and a strong portfolio of web design work.

As an established agency with an excellent reputation and high profile client list we aim to recruit the very best. We’re looking for a personable web designer to join our friendly team.

You must be enthusiastic, confident, hard working and able to communicate clearly and professionally. You’ll be able to design stylish, usable and highly-professional websites and online user interfaces.

The ideal candidate would be energetic, creative and efficient, able to work independently as well as being a solid team member.

Must have:

• Excellent online portfolio of own website design work
• Good understanding of brand and typography
• Experience in design of information based and content driven websites
• Creative thinking and ability to think 'outside of the box'
• Good User Interface design and knowledge of navigation strategies
• Understanding of web technologies and W3C standards and their impact on design
• Confident in front of the client
• Ability to manage time and work to tight deadlines (this does not mean late nights!)
• Enjoys working in a team and contributing positively to discussions and brainstorms
• Live within easy commuting distance of the office
• Interest in and awareness of new technologies and their impact on design

Desirable to have:

• Experience of print design
• XHTML/CSS coding
• Flash action scripting

Software experience:
We would expect you to have good working knowledge of:

• Adobe Photoshop
• Illustrator/Fireworks
• Flash

We're based in Mortlake, London SW14. Our office is close to Hammersmith and Richmond with excellent travel connections.
