Hosting and Security

We like to take good care of our clients and like to make sure their websites are always available and suited to their needs. In order to make this happen we run our own servers rather than relying on outside providers. We only offer hosting for our own clients, not for anybody else, and as well as website hosting can offer domain name servers, email hosting as well as full web site statistics and back ups. We also provide maintenance, training and support as part of our package.

Our servers are built on the industry standard GNU/Linux/Apache/MySQL combination. They are housed in a secure co-lo facility and sit behind a stateful firewall. Security is a priority: access is tightly controlled, applications are chosen with security in mind and our staff constantly monitor security news across a wide variety of sources to keep up to date with the latest developments so we can update our security in a timely manner.

All our servers are backed up on a daily basis to a dedicated Raid array backup server, which is also mirrored offsite and dumped to tape.
