The Challenge

BBC Worldwide Events host an annual event to promote and sell their TV productions to an international audience. Delegates are invited to view screenings of BBC productions and enjoy a programme of evening entertainment where they can network and socialise with colleagues from around the world.

The BBC Worldwide Events team required a solution that enabled them to manage prospective delegates from initial invitation through to final confirmation of attendance. The whole system had to allow the events team to administer delegates via a simple online interface.

The booking of hotels had to be implemented through the system via integration with a specialist travel agency, and a microsite was required that provided detailed information about the event to attendees.

Our Solution

Red Snapper developed an online delegate management system that handles the invitation, registration, booking and confirmation of international delegate's attendance, accommodation and screening booking requirements. The system is managed by the BBC Worldwide Events team via a simple and intuitive user interface which allows them to track every step of the process.
